Today is Opening Day 2006 for Major League Baseball. Opening Day is nirvana for hardball afficianados across the nation, or as we Philadelphia Phillies fans like to call it:
“The day we’re technically furthest away from being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs!”
Hooray!
